SCOTT LARNER commenced trading from small industrial unit on
Denton Holme Trade Centre, Carlisle as a new printing company completely from
scratch.
The main business from startup being colour copying and colour proofs from customers' own disks.
Quickly fulfilling the growing requirement for printing, an offset litho machine was installed followed 18 months later by a second, larger machine. Supplying stationery becomes part of remit. |

BRIAN SHAW of Penrith Office Supplies expresses desire to retire from printing. Successful negotiations lead to Print Out taking over company at existing
premises at Petteril Works, Jesmond Street, off Greystone Road, Carlisle. Print Out continued to operate from two sites while expanding potential for supplying stationery to existing
customers and servicing Penrith Office Supplies' customers. |

ANDREW CUNNINGHAM also expresses wish to retire (must be
catching!) and sell business known as
Wm. Irving & Son, Water Street, Carlisle - established since 1924!.
Successful negotiations lead to Print Out taking over the business at the existing premises
on Water Street, Carlisle with plans to relocate and integrate the business at Denton Holme for April 2001.

move back
to Print Out at Denton Holme earlier than planned while efforts to expand into
Unit 6 next door to Print Out progress at a more rapid pace! |

Work at Unit 6 next door to Print Out is completed prompting swift move of Wm. Irving & Son,
joining
Penrith Office Supplies as part of the Print Out Group. (Hurrah! and Phew!) |
