| 1973 |
BRIAN SHAW commenced trading from offices in King Street, Penrith, (hence the business name). Originally selling office equipment and
graphic / offset supplies and machinery to printers. |
| 1975 |
Business moved to 75 London Road, Carlisle to shop fronted premises and retailed stationery and office machines. It was from here that printing for existing customers began. |
| 1980 |
As demand for printing increased, larger premises forced a move to Petteril Works, Jesmond Street,
off Greystone Road, Carlisle where the business continued to thrive. However,
nothing lasts forever..... |
| February 2000 |
BRIAN SHAW retires and sells Business to SCOTT LARNER, local printer.
Print Out continued to trade as Penrith Office Supplies at these premises until looming demolition and redevelopment of the Petteril Works site forced early move to the existing
location of Print Out on the Denton Holme Trade Centre, Carlisle. |
| December 2000 |
Business combined with Wm. Irving & Son and continues to trade as a Printers & Stationers although no longer selling and maintaining photocopiers. (Customer base passed on to another local company for continuity of service).
Penrith Office Supplies now integrated as part of the Print Out Group. |
